Ayisha is an associate in the Firm’s dispute resolution, construction, projects and infrastructure practice group and based in the Accra office.
Since joining the firm after completing her pupillage, she has worked on matters involving commercial and civil litigation, family law practice and conveyancing applying her legal insight across a variety of complex disputes.
Ayisha holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from La Trobe University, Australia, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law in Melbourne. She was called to the Australian Bar in 2020 and the Ghana Bar in 2024 and is licensed to practice in both Ghana and Australia.
Ayisha’s prior legal experience spans public prosecutions, immigration law, and human rights advocacy. She served as a Solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria, and held positions with institutions including the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, Hermis & Associates, and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights.
Before her legal career, Ayisha worked as a broadcast and print journalist in Ghana, showcasing her strong analytical and communication skills.
She is fluent in Twi and Hausa, and outside of work enjoys singing, cooking, and dancing salsa and bachata.
