With an estimated 4 out of 10 of every 1000 people living with epilepsy globally, it is essential that individuals, particularly caregivers, educators, and first responders, are equipped with the knowledge to recognize seizure symptoms, provide appropriate first aid during a seizure, thereby reducing the risk of injury, and creating a supportive environment for people living with epilepsy.
