Kwame is an Assistant Managing Associate in the Firm’s Mining, Oil, and Gas practice group and is based in the Accra office. He is a lawyer with expertise and specialisation in the insurance, commercial as well as the energy sector.

Kwame has been involved in several civil litigation matters. He is an effective thinker with deep understanding of global and local business trends borne out of varied experiences across Ghana.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He was called to the Ghana Bar in 2020.

• Defending a financial institution in a claim of an alleged breach of an account agreement, saving the client up to GHS 3,600,000.

• Assisting a financial institution in recovering GHS 3,120,000 owed due to a default on a credit facility, ensuring the full repayment of the outstanding amount.
  
  
• Assisting a client in recovering GHS 5,500,000 owed due to a default under a supply agreement involving the supply of agricultural produce.
  
  
• Assisting a client in restructuring their supply agreements with produce sellers, ensuring the inclusion of mortgages as part of the arrangement.
  
  
• Assisting a foreign insurer/reinsurer in establishing operations in Ghana by completing a detailed questionnaire on insurance law and regulations in the country.
